Steer Into the Depths

Perhaps what I've become so addicted to has made me rather "**********" and I do not
like that word one bit (hence all those asterisks). Social media of any kind is such a great resource these days to simply
show the world who an individual is and what they are bringing out to show the internet kids.
People posting who they're with or what they're doing gets to me, especially when I was not invited and I know, people have their reasons but because of this happening to me, I've been thinking
"Should I even be or keep making an effort anymore if no one else is returning the favor?"

What's been on my mind for a long time ever since I've started college is that I barely see
any of my friends... Not even sure if I have a good number of those left.
If I ever do get to see anyone, it's usually a spur of the moment kind of thing
or a Facebook invite. With this being said, refer back to the last thought above.

Okay, 5SOS has also been on my mind A LOT lately, so we should end it there.

Work til' I can't work no more

This summer has been one full of work, work, and work. Hope I used that oxford comma correctly because I'm always worried about that. Oxford comma aside, I feel like I haven't been able to hangout with friends a lot ever since I got a job--which is going good. Yep, I know that I should be thankful that I even have a job but my moods have been on the down side rather than what I usually show: happiness. Before having this job, there was always time to chill and enjoy the company of many individuals but now, it's a very rare occasion when this happens in life. People go off to college, have jobs of their own, go out of the country, etc. Life takes us all in different places and we all have to just take whatever opportunity is staring us right in the face.

I'm an extrovert living and introverts life. So far, it's not enjoyable but that's life!

California Dreaming

It's honestly been a while sine I've posted anything on here. Long story short: I'm done with school and currently on vacation. So far, some places I've gone to have been: Santa Monica pier, Venice beach, a place to eat on the beach called Paradise Cove in Malibu, Universal Studios Hollywood, and even a few shops in multiple places around. Even though this trip is tiring already, I'd have to say it's pretty dreamy over here. Back home, it's (what I imagine at the moment) a sticky hot mess all through the day as opposed to here where you get the comfortable dry heat and the cool summer night which makes going to bed something to look forward to. I've also met a lot of family that haven't seen me since I was a baby during this trip an it has been a delight. This post is rather dodgy since I can't stop thinking about where I'm going tomorrow: Disneyland

It was taken towards the beginning of the Santa Monica pier. These eateries/shops caught my attention because of their rad a/f colors.

Music is the Answer

Here in the Midwest, it is still a very frigid Winter and I thought
I would share with you my top 10 favorites tunes that I've been
jamming way too much to during my very little daily hours of at-home
hibernation. I will also add that when I commute to school daily, there
are a few songs on here that just "make my day" such as Young Volcanoes
by Fall Out Boy and Goodbye Copenhagen by New Politics. When I'm
walking around the city, Cabin Down Below by The Royal Concept is
literally THE BEST song and just gives me a heartwarming
feeling that I can't really describe. It's weird!

Appreciate today and tomorrow

They're a guilty, guilty pleasure

Hey everyone! I think that I have become a regular when it comes to certain boy and girl bands. My current "spring" of something close to obsession would have to have started off with my prepubescent years when Jump5 and A*Teens were my go-to groups to jam the hell out to. I would also like to thank the creators of the Disney Mania discs for making my childhood years oh so fruitful. Anyways, there have been many boy band groups making it "big" in the world i.e The Wanted and One Direction. You can't forget the good ol' Backstreet Boys, N*SYNC, Spice Girls, Destiny's Child, 98 Degrees, B*Witched and TLC! Although, I feel like I was more of a Backstreet Boys girl
I think that because of where I work, there has been a trigger in my brain to listen to boy/girl bands. Well, where I work, they plays tons of different boy/girl band music so, might as well look the songs up after work, eh? So, listed below are the boy/girl bands that I've been listening to lately and/or a song recommendation. Also, the list is in order of the pictures I have added to the post starting at the top:

♪ AJR - I'm Ready
♪ A*Teens - Can't Help Falling in Love
♪ Emblem3 - 3000 Miles
♪ Jump5 - All I Can Do
♪ Little Mix - Change Your Life
♪ R5 - (I Can't) Forget About You
♪ The Vamps - Wild Heart

Online Haul | January

So during the month of January, I bought/ordered (what I consider) a lot of things. As you can see, it doesn't seem like much but I ordered everything in increments of days so one day, I ordered and then another day, I ordered again! Anyways, items were purchased from Amazon, Baublebar, and Etsy! I've had an Etsy obsession for quite sometime and I'm sure I'll be ordering more from many independent stores next month! My two favorite items so far from my purchase have been my Game of Thrones pin and my blue druzy ring!
I also did a haul video on my YouTube channel: ~(^_^)~ Click here to check out my video! Moving along, below I have included the links to the websites that I have purchased everything!
